Frequently asked questions about roof boards
How much do roof boards cost per square metre?
Our roof boards cost 38 PLN/m² excluding VAT, or 46.74 PLN/m² including 23% VAT. Transport and installation are quoted individually.
What is the price per m² of boards at a sawmill?
The price depends on the wood species, moisture content, processing, length and grade. At Skan-Pol, our price is for a specific product: dried, planed spruce boards rebated on all four edges.
Which boards should I choose for solid roof decking?
Dry, even softwood boards are a good choice. Rebated boards work well for solid decking because they form a more stable, close-fitting surface.
How much does a cubic metre of 25 mm boards cost?
The price per m³ depends on the sawmill, grade and timber specifications. For comparison, 1 m³ of 25 mm boards covers approximately 40 m². Our offer is priced per m²: 38 PLN excluding VAT per m² of 20 mm boards.
Can these boards be used under roofing felt?
Yes. The 20×120 mm roof boards can be used as decking under roofing felt and other coverings, provided installation follows the design and the requirements of the structure.
